During his 30-year real estate career, Mr. Paganelli has achieved success initiating or managing over one billion dollars of realty and non-realty portfolios, acquisitions, financings and dispositions. He has developed deep operational experience in the management of value-added, operationally distressed, tax challenged real estate assets, as well as debt and operating companies.
In 2001, Mr. Paganelli and Richard Sabella formed Prism Venture Partners, LLC (now Allerand Capital, LLC) to pursue opportunistic investments and create structured investment products. Under Mr. Paganelli’s guidance, Allerand has managed the acquisition, financing, restructuring or management of over a half billion dollars of office, retail, residential, land development, marina and net lease opportunities. Beginning in the early 1990s, Mr. Paganelli was employed at Cushman & Wakefield and represented major corporate, institutional and offshore realty investors and lenders relating to their distressed asset portfolios. Later in the decade, Mr. Paganelli occupied a senior position at Starwood Capital and thereafter joined NorthStar Capital where he had sole managerial responsibility over the former Integrated Resources net lease and aircraft portfolio which comprised more than one billion dollars of institutional quality assets. Beginning in 2000, Mr. Paganelli served as a senior asset manager in Cerberus Capital’s real estate principal investment and management company Blackacre Capital Group.
